Terms of Use
MeditDate · last updated August 9, 2026
MeditDate lets people talk by voice, listen to music together in private, invite-only rooms, and plan when to meet with a shared schedule. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.
Your account
MeditDate is for adults: you must be 17 or older to use it.
You sign in with Google or Apple and choose a public username. You are responsible for what happens through your account. You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Profile tab → Delete account); deletion removes your sign-in, your username, your music library, your schedules, and any audio you shared.
Content rules: zero tolerance
MeditDate carries user content: your voice, audio files a room's host shares, and the names and times on shared schedules. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not share or transmit:
- content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, or sexually exploitative;
- content that violates someone else's rights, including copyrighted audio you don't have the right to play for others;
- spam, or attempts to disrupt rooms or other users;
- recordings of a room made without the consent of everyone in it. We never record rooms ourselves, and you may not either.
We remove content that breaks these rules and eject the users who share it.
Reporting and blocking
Every room has a Report a problem action, and long-pressing any name lets you report or block that person; blocking mutes them for you everywhere, immediately. We review reports within 24 hours and act on them: rule-breaking content is removed and the responsible accounts lose access.
Your music library and shared audio
Audio files you add to your library are stored for your account and stay until you delete them or delete your account. When a host plays a file in a room, the other people in that room receive a copy for that session only; their copies are removed when they leave and the room's copy is removed when the room ends or is deleted. MeditDate is not a music storage or distribution service.
Schedules and invite links
A schedule you create carries the event name you type, the days you propose, and the times each person marks. Anyone you send the invite link to can answer, in the app or on the invite page in a browser, and the names and times on a schedule are visible to the people invited to it. Treat invite links as private: anyone holding one can see the schedule and answer.
Not medical care
MeditDate is a social app for meditating, talking, and listening to music with other people. It is not a medical device, it does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a professional.
